Hello and welcome to the Purple Rhapsody Live Space! This is the first public exposure of the music of Purple Rhapsody.

Purple Rhapsody is one person, Terry Robinson... and that's me! I've been writing music on and off for 25 years and I've finally got to the point where my equipment and resources are good enough that I'm not ashamed to let my music be heard by the world. When I say I've been writing music on and off for the last 25 years it's been mostly 'on' but with a gap of a few years when money was tight and mouths needed to be fed.

My music is all original and although it loosely fits into categories such as modern classical, new age, and easy listening I hope you'll agree that it's more than any of those.

My influences include (but aren't limited to) Mike Oldfield, Muse, Sugar Ray, Electric Light Orchestra, Rick Wakeman, Keene, Alan Parsons Project, and many more!

I plan to keep this blog updated with the progress of my music for the second Purple Rhapsody CD which will be taking form over the next few months.
